My fun day!

I had a VERY fun day today.

First, I helped Mommy fold the laundry. She had already folded it and had it in piles on the bed that she was putting away, but the pj's didn't look quite right to me, so I showed her how they should be folded. (after I tried them on, of course)

I also helped Mommy by pouring 1/2 the bottle of Claritin onto the counter top and dumping most of my orange juice on the floor (they are both SUPER sticky). I'm not sure why she didn't take a picture of that to show you.

Mommy decided that we should get out of the house for a while so we went to a store and then had lunch at Steak 'n' Shake. I loved my chicken strips and fruit. When we left, Mommy put some money on the table and said that this was one mess she didn't have to clean up today. I wonder what she meant by that.

Aren't I silly?

I'm a little sleepy but we still have to go get groceries.

I helped Mommy push the cart down the hall.
I don't know what she ever did without me.

After my nap, we went to see some of my Guatemalan friends. We swam in the pool, had a YUMMY dinner and wrestled on the floor. It was FUN!

Mommy wanted to take a picture of me in the pool, but she was too busy trying to make sure that I didn't put my head under the water.

I was a HUGE hit with the older kids. They liked laying on the floor with me. And they loved it when I followed them everywhere and tried to take away the toys they were playing with.

Mommy tried to sit in a chair and talk to her friends. She looked bored, so I kept going to the top of the stairs and pretending that I was going to try walking down them by myself. You should have seen how fast Mommy and her friends can get out of their chairs! I think I kept them from being bored.

When I got home, I was pretty sleepy. I told Mommy, "ba-ba; nigh-nigh". When she put me in my crib, I didn't even make a peep. I went right to sleep. zzzzzzzzzzz...........

Andrew and the purple crayon

He's starting to get the hang of this coloring thing. :)

Mostly, he just likes to line up the crayons in his hand until they're perfect. Uh-oh.

The 'no-no' game

One of Andrew's favorite games to play is the 'no-no' game. I tell him 'no-no' and he tests the limits. He could play it for hours. :)

The pay-off comes at 40 seconds.

Mommy's helper

Andrew likes to 'help' me with most household jobs (you should see him get behind a swiffer). But this week he has actually started to come in handy. lol

You'll hear me ask him what the dryer says because he usually closes the door and then makes a humming noise like the dryer does. (of course, he wouldn't do it on camera.)

Dancing with Curly bear

Andrew has been dancing with his bear. Apparently, Curly really likes to 'rock out'.

Visiting the classroom

I had some extra work to do today before the kids come tomorrow. I picked Andrew up from daycare and brought him back to school with me. He had a great time exploring (read: taking everything off the shelves).

Running with Manny

Andrew loves to 'race' down our hallway. He especially likes to make Manny race with us.

(sorry it's so dark. There's no natural light in our hallway and I was using my digital camera.)

Mommy's shoes

Andrew was trying on my shoes yesterday. He loves to walk around in them even he falls every second step or so.

(I didn't say they were my nicest shoes....I just said they were shoes.)

Look how he's grown!

I realized tonight that instead of having to climb into this black chair, Andrew now just backs up onto it. I found an older picture of him sitting in it and you can really see the difference.
(and yes, that is cereal on his face in the second picture. You get the shot when you can. lol)

Block Party

Our friend, Colleen, invited us to her block party today. We had a wonderful time--even when it started to rain. Andrew was definitely NOT shy. He walked all around without me and had no problem muscling his way into the water table, trying out every single toy on wheels and going into other people's garages to look for more toys. I walked into someone's garage to find him high-5'ing people he didn't even know! lol At one point, he car-jacked a Barbie jeep from three little girls.
It had rained before we got there and Andrew walked in/fell in every puddle he could find. He was a wet, muddy mess and he loved every minute of it.

He stole this out of someone's garage.

Beanbags, anyone?

What's in here?

Water balloons!!

His first rice krispie treat. He LOVED it. (I was secretly hoping he wouldn't so I could have the rest of his.)

Look at his cheeks. They're full of rice krispie treats.
