We celebrated Andrew's and my niece's birthdays while we were visiting them. Andrew loved his cake and my nieces and nephews loved the pinata.
mmmmmm.......cake.
My niece, Jolie, shares my love for all things Nancy Drew. For her birthday, I bought her some of the original books from the 1930's.

Christmas Day
I love this picture of Andrew looking at my brother:
Totally posed, but still really cute pictures:
Christmas dinner:
Yum! Turkey!
The Yule Log.
Gramma, Jolie and Amelia made this cake.
They put peppermint extract in a trough made of tootsie rolls and lit it.
You can't see the flame very well in this picture, but it was really pretty.

Christmas Eve
Andrew and I were visiting my brother and sister-in-law and their kids for Christmas. Gramma and Grandad were there too. We were really busy---mostly eating, but also doing some other things.
Andrew's new 'trick' is to stick his tongue out----unfortunately, he sometimes does it while he still has food in his mouth.
Reading the Christmas story:
Trying to get a picture of the kids in front of the tree.
Not an easy task.
This one cracks me up:
Where'd Bennett go?
The best we could do:
What'd you get, Uncle Dan?
Graham digs in:
Grandad opening gift:
Hmmm.....I wonder what's in here?
Yay!! Paper!!!
He looks really interested in this toy, doesn't he?
He actually took all the blocks out so he could play with (read: chew on) the container.
Andrew and Bennett.
Can you believe that Bennett is 11 months older than Andrew?
Christmas jammies:
We decorated gingerbread men. They all looked great, but Amelia has a special talent. They looked professional.
Here are the finished products:
It is tradition to have tamales at Christmas in Guatemala. I brought some with us for everyone to try. Andrew couldn't get them in fast enough! He loved the pork tamale.

Santa Baby
I took these pictures too late to put them on the Christmas card, but they're too cute to keep to myself.
(our friend, JoAnn, did some cool photoshop stuff to a couple of the pictures. Thanks, JoAnn!!!)

Christmas Card photo shoot
Most of you have seen the Christmas photo card by now. In order to get those two cute shots, I had to take a LOT of pictures. Here is a slide show of all the pictures I took. Poor Andrew--I'm surprised he doesn't start crying as soon as he sees the camera.
(the slide show has music, so turn the other music off first--if you haven't already. lol)

Nebulizer
Andrew has had a terrible cough. When I took him to the doctor last week, she said that he needs a nebulizer. I thought it would be a fight to get him to take the treatments. He wasn't very fond of the mask, but loves the mouthpiece.
The best part about the treatments is that they curb his appetite a little bit which means that he has slept through the night TWICE!

Look who's crawling!!!
I've put him into the crawling position before and he has wanted no part of it. Today, I tried it again and he did it!!! I was in the lobby waiting with the boy I tutor, and I was jumping around and 'woo hoo-ing' like a maniac. :)

Speaking of big boys....
Andrew went to the doctor today for some coughing/wheezing issues he's been having. While there, they weighed and measured him. He weighs 26 lbs.!!!!!! He has gained 7 pounds in two months. According to the height/weight chart I have, he's in the 65th%ile for height and the 90th%ile for weight!! No wonder my arm hurts!!!
