Early Easter

We're at my parent's house this week and will not get to spend Easter with them so we're celebrating early. They planned a great Easter egg hunt for the boys. Each egg had a note in it telling them an action that they had to do in order to get a treat. It helped make the hunt last longer and gave them a fun way to interact with Gramma and Grandad.

Market East

Today, we rode the train into Philly to eat cheesesteaks in the Market East food court. The place is amazing. There is booth after booth of wonderful foods.

The boys loved the train ride.

We ate at a cute little restaurant decorated in red and white.

My mom is the queen of keeping kids occupied. She taught Andrew to fold a napkin into triangles to make a design. He thought it was the best thing ever (til the fries got there).

The market place.

We topped off the day with whoopie pies. There was a little stand that had whoopie pies in all different flavors. Andrew and Daniel had the banana-strawberry. Gramma had the bananas foster and I had the most delicious red-velvet whoopie pie.

10 seconds

I bought a tripod tonight so I could get some pictures of the three of us once in a while. One time of setting the timer and then leaping onto the sofa to be in the picture with them and the boys were sold. After every picture they yelled, 'More!'.
They're not great but we're all in the frame together.

Andrew was very serious about getting a good picture of the two of them while
Daniel had his finger up his nose on purpose and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I have a love/hate relationship with The Crafting Chicks. I love their projects. I hate that I stay up too late at night working on them. This one took very little time, though, and turned out super cute. They are little 'pots of gold' for Andrew's teachers.

Clean Water

I'm taking the willette:joy of luck class. Today's theme is: gift.

Clean water is a gift. I never turn on a faucet anymore without thinking of the boys' birth families and the luxury of clean water in their countries.

Mama's bed

By morning, the boys are usually in my bed. Apparently, their friends are now joining them.
