In the past couple of weeks, Andrew has started to interact with his favorite shows. He used to just watch them for a minute or two but liked having them on in the background. Now he really watches them and when Dora and Diego tell him to do something, he does it!

Too many Mannys
You know how in the movie Back to the Future, Doc keeps telling Marty that he can never let his past self see his future self or something (I don't remember what) terrible will happen?
We have 3 Mannys at our house, but Andrew thinks we just have one, perpetually clean Manny. Tonight, the inevitable happened. Two of the Mannys were in the same place at the same time. The look on Andrew's face when he saw both of them was priceless. He just kept holding them next to each other and looking from one to the other. I managed to get one of them away from him and put away without too much drama but he's been restless all night and I'm pretty sure he's dreaming of two Mannys.

No soup for you!
Slip sliding away
We met our friend Noah and his mom at the local rec center. The boys had a great time climbing, running and sliding.
I am not sure about this slide.
This is how a monkey gets to the top of the slide.
So, Noah. Should we do this?
Andrew's friend from daycare was there too!
They had so much fun sliding together.
The big boy slide.

Dentists and Doctors and Hospitals...oh my!
Andrew had his first visit to the dentist today. He did a GREAT job. He sat perfectly still while Dr. Jim looked at all his teeth (his top molars are coming in) and then cleaned his teeth. He was the perfect patient. He even swished and spit when he was done. It was so funny.
Checking out the fish.
(I didn't even realize until I saw the fish that Andrew's shirt looks like Nemo.)
Lovey wanted to see the fish too.
Andrew and Manny ready for their check-up.
Hey, I know you. You're my babysitter's dad!
Be careful in there. I bit mommy once when she tried that.
Picking prizes out of the treasure chest:
After the dentist visit, we went to McDonald's because he had been such a good boy.
Barbeque sauce is delicious....even on an apple.
Next we were off to the pediatrician. I'm pretty sure that Andrew has a urinary tract infection. My first clue was when he yelled, "I PEE. OW, OW! I PEE"
Andrew is 34 and 3/4" tall!
And he weighs 28 lbs!
The dr. sent us over to the hospital lab for a urinalysis. That was 3.5 hours of fun waiting for Andrew to pee into a bag. At 5:00 we finally had enough for the test. We go back to the dr. tomorrow for the results.

Neti-pot
In case you've ever wondered how to use a neti-pot, Andrew will now give you a demonstration.
If you'd like a real demonstration on what a neti-pot does, do a search for neti-pot on youtube. There are some great videos over there on how to use it.
It's an Indian method of cleaning out your nasal passages and apparently Andrew has watched me do it quite a few times.
