Andrew turns 6

Andrew turned 6 today (I know, gulp. How did that happen?)  He wanted a robot party and I was more than happy to plan that. He walked around this morning using his best robot voice saying, 'I. am. the. birthday. boy. I. am. six.'

Ready to open his presents from us

A robot/dinosaur/transformer.
It doesn't get much better than that.

 Opening his present from Daniel

A robot bank. He loved it!

Robot cakes--ready to be decorated with candy

Ready for the Rock 'em, Sock 'em Robot tournament

Decorating tin can robots.

Seth was very intense in designing his robot/rocket combination.

This is our new friend, Zechariah. He is Seth and Leah's brother and we already really, really like him.

Andrew couldn't wait for this activity. It was the reason he jumped out of bed so early this morning.

Andrew's robot

Leah is so sweet she almost makes me want to have a little girl. I should have taken a picture of the pink cowboy boots she was wearing. Cuter than cute.

The kids made their own pizzas but most of them were too excited to eat.

They also decorated robot cakes with candy.

By the time we sang to Andrew, he had already eaten all the candy off of the top of it.

Andrew loves cards. He saves all of them.

That's one way to find out what's in the gift bag.

More dinosaur/robot/transformers. He loves them!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Legos. Two of his favorite things in one box. Heaven.
