A reader

Andrew loves books. I used to read to him a lot but lately he hasn't wanted me to read. He looks at books constantly but wants to read them to me. He also lets me answer the question, "What's that" several times on every page. This week, I have insisted that he let me read books to him before he goes to bed at night as part of our new big-boy bed, calming down, PLEASE go to sleep routine. He has been waking up and coming into my bed at various times in the night but almost always brings his blankets, Lovey, Manny and a book with him. This is how he fell asleep tonight.

I hope that he will always be a reader. I can't wait to read chapter books and novels to him (and his brother/s).
