Walk Now for Autism

On Saturday, May 16, we will be joining our friends Mary, Chris and kids in the Autism Walk. They have a beautiful son named Danny who has been diagnosed with Autism. He has been receiving services for a few years and the progress he has made is amazing. In my classroom, I often have students who have been diagnosed with Autism and I have friends who have children on the Autism spectrum. It is a cause that is important to me.
Please visit the team site here. If you would like to donate to the cause, you can donate to team "Christopher Walsh" or you can click on my name and donate there. Either way, the money all goes to the same cause. If this is not a cause that you wish to support financially, please support Danny and his family with your prayers and/or comments. They are such a wonderful family who give a lot of time and energy to the cause of Autism Awareness. ~They also just happen to have a gorgeous daughter who is adopted from Guatemala. :) ~
