Adoption update

My dossier is COMPLETE (except for the homestudy). I have to take a class on April 25 and wait for my DCFS fingerprints to come back...then my social worker can finish everything up and give me the completed homestudy. I'll then have to take it downtown to be certified. That's it! It can be sent to D.C. to be authenticated and then on to Ethiopia. At that time, I'll be put on the waiting list for an infant boy. It feels so good to have this part finished.

Some randomly cute shots of the 'big brother'.

  2. I'm so excited for you guys!! I'm still praying God will make another Guatemalan adoption possible in the future but for now no more adoptions in the works. I just get to travel back and love on all the children!! Maybe when my dear hubby gets to spend time with some of them he will realize we need to do it again now no matter if we need to go to another country or not!!
