Christmas Eve

We had a low-key Christmas eve and it was great! We went out for dinner at 1:00 at a little diner that has the best crab cakes. Andrew had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and a bunch of fruit from the salad bar. He ate really well.

He took a quick nap on the way home. We went to the early service at church and then home for a light dinner, including Guatemalan tamales--a tradition in Guatemala.
In our family, we open presents from each other on Christmas eve and then open stockings and gifts from Santa on Christmas morning. Andrew had a hard time opening gifts because he was so tired. I know he'll love everything he got but tonight he just wanted to keep opening everyone's gifts and didn't really pay much attention to what he had gotten.

The dust buster was a hit.
