Christmas Eve

Andrew and I were visiting my brother and sister-in-law and their kids for Christmas. Gramma and Grandad were there too. We were really busy---mostly eating, but also doing some other things.
We decorated gingerbread men. They all looked great, but Amelia has a special talent. They looked professional.

Here are the finished products:

It is tradition to have tamales at Christmas in Guatemala. I brought some with us for everyone to try. Andrew couldn't get them in fast enough! He loved the pork tamale.

Andrew's new 'trick' is to stick his tongue out----unfortunately, he sometimes does it while he still has food in his mouth.

Reading the Christmas story:

Trying to get a picture of the kids in front of the tree.

Not an easy task.

This one cracks me up:

Where'd Bennett go?

The best we could do:

What'd you get, Uncle Dan?

Graham digs in:

Grandad opening gift:

Hmmm.....I wonder what's in here?

Yay!! Paper!!!

He looks really interested in this toy, doesn't he?
He actually took all the blocks out so he could play with (read: chew on) the container.

Andrew and Bennett.
Can you believe that Bennett is 11 months older than Andrew?

Christmas jammies:

  1. Such great pics! Sounds like your Christmas was wonderful.

  2. It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Merry be-lated Christmas to you both ;) Love the pj's again! (I already mentioned that in the post above LOL)

  3. I forgot to mention, the group shots of the kids are hilarious! They are so cute- isn't it hard to get everyone to look and smile at the camera all at the same time?!

  4. Ruthanne, all the pics are great. Andrew is a doll. The pic of you and him turned out sooo good!!! What a beautiful smile he has.
